The XT Floating

The XT Extrication Device is a medical device designed to ensure quick and safe rescue operations (rapid extrication in less than 20 seconds). Also for water rescues.

With the revolutionary XT line, the extrication protocol can be completed quickly and safely, even in extremely complex situations, including interventions in confined spaces, vertical recovery, water rescues. The following versions are available:

• XT, for rapid extrication;

• XT Pro for vertical extraction in confined spaces (human lift);

• XT Floating for water rescues.

Each version of the Extrication Device allows for the correct immobilisation of the cervical spine, and can even be upgraded with the supplementary kits at any time.

Why to choose the XT Extrication Device

It's safe. The operations for the extraction of patients from vehicles or other confined spaces are carried out in complete safety. Thanks to the included wedge head immobiliser system, the device guarantees maximum immobilisation of the patient's head and spine if cervical injuries are suspected.

It reduces intervention times. The special coloured buckles on the safety restraints simplify and speed up the immobilisation process.

It's comfortable for both the patient and the operator. The restraints immobilise the patient without exerting compression, and the lifting handles provide for a firm and ergonomic grip.

It is easy to transport and sanitise. It's made from lightweight and easy to clean material.

Buoyancy. The arrangement of the buoyancy tubes in semi-rigid polyurethane is designed to keep the patient with his head out of the water. The buoyancy is higher than that of a buoyancy vest.

Fast clip. Quick attachment and release of the floats thanks to the fast clip bucles.

Choose the XT Floating version if...

You need an extrication device suitable for water rescues. The XT Floating unit is equipped with one float to support the head and two lateral floats. The system keeps the patient's face out of the water at all times.

This extrication device also reduces the intervention time thanks to the special Fast Clip technology, which allows the floats to be attached in just a few seconds.

XT - Floating is a kit designed to guarantee extreme maneuverability and reliability during water rescue. The head float and the two lateral floats guarantee optimal support for the patient, preventing him from overturning and protecting him from accidental impacts.

• tge KIT XT Floating: 4 handling rings; 3 floating cylinders; 2 retaining restraints; 1 longitudinal retaining restraint.
