The SCOOPEXLTM stretcher can even be used to rescue bariatric patients. That's because we've developed a specially designed system: the TSL Expander Kit. This incredibly convenient system allows patients weighing up to 227 kg to be transported in complete safely, and even allows the SCOOPEXLTM stretcher to be used with patient lifts.
The TSL Expander Kit is just one of the solutions that FERNO has developed for rescuing bariatric patients. The others are the following: The 26-B Heavy Load self-loading stretcher; the Toboga Titan-32 stretcher; the Large Body Surface (LBS) top for increasing the surface area of the 26-B, 26-P, 35-P and 93-P model stretchers; the mattress for the Large Body Surface top; and the Manta S-132 soft stretcher.

It's safe. The patented closure system prevents the stretcher from accidentally opening, and the expanders are made from high-strength aluminium with heavy duty restraints.
It's easy to use. The expanders can be applied to the SCOOPEXLTM atraumatic stretcher in just a few seconds' time using the supplied TSL hook.
It's versatile. The TSL Expander and SCOOPEXLTM stretcher are compatible with the Easy Lift winch hook attachments. This means that the system can even be used with a patient lift.
